Masumi Ormandy, backed primarily by the trio of Lee Tomboulian on piano, Dean Johnson on bass and Tim Horner on drums unleashes “Sunshine in Manhattan,” her vocal stylings of standards from the Great American Songbook. Trumpeter Freddie Hendrix,  guitarist Paul Meyers, and tenor Houston Person join Masumi for a  nostalgic look at the songs that made Manhattan sing in the Golden Era of Jazz.
