Project THEM, the group-titled album by the ensemble of the same name. The ninth album on the Miles High Records label, Project THEM is a mix of edgy, forward-leaning, yet not avant-garde, modern jazz styles where most of the tracks are original compositions, performed by an exceptional ensemble that enjoys working together, deftly improvising.
Gathered by leader and vibraphonist Mark Sherman, it includes: Drummer Adam Nussbaum; pianist/keyboardist Mitchel Forman; saxophonist Bob Franceschini; bassist Martin Gjakonovski; and pianist Paolo Di Sabatino.
