This is Jeff Holmes’ album debut of his quartet, but the veteran musicians joining him, saxophonist Adam Kolker, bassist James Cammack, and drummer Steve Johns are no strangers to great Jazz. Holmes, familiar to many as a member of Vincent Giordano’s Nighthawks, wrote all of the original tracks. Like sherpa, the quartet is going to take you to the heights of the jazz mountain, and show you vistas that are mind-blowing.
