Mark Sherman’s 2007 release of post-Bop to the outer edge of hard-Bop in six originals and four standards with soaring individual solos from leader, and vibraphonist. Sherman and trumpeter and flugelhornist Joe Magnarelli’s interplay takes this album to a new level.
